Job Announcement: Kansas City, MO – Field Services Manager (Senior Engineering Technician)

Full-time position available with the Public Works Department, Operations Division, located at 414 E. 12th St.
Salary Range: $27.25-$40.88/hour
Normal Work Days/Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities: Provide technical support in engineering and infrastructure planning, emphasizing maintenance of City-owned transit assets.Facilitate track access permitting and support safety and reliability of the Kansas City Streetcar system.Assist the Multimodal Division in administrative oversight and field-level condition assessment of assets.Interpret and apply SR-1 standards, coordinating with internal departments.Evaluate compliance with state and federal safety transit asset management regulations.Coordinate with the Streetcar Program Manager, transit operators, contractors, utility companies, and regulatory agencies to ensure proper access controls in the right-of-way (ROW), and proper practices and procedures in the maintenance-of-way (MOW).
