Valley Metro Boosts Public Transit with More Frequent Light Rail and Streetcar Services in Phoenix
Valley Metro is stepping up its game starting Saturday, as it rolls out more frequent trips on its light rail and streetcar services. In a move to boost convenience and reduce wait times, the transportation agency is introducing more regularity to commuters’ schedules with light rail trains arriving every 12 minutes until 7 p.m., and streetcar service in Tempe increasing its frequency to every 15 minutes until evening.
